Using Foodoobie

You may browse published recipes, trends, and Munchie Lab content; vote in polls; request Foodoobie It recipe remixes; use Pick My Craving; and, where available, use Recipe Grabber. Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to bypass request limits, interfere with the service, probe credentials, or submit content you are not allowed to use.

Recipe and food information

Foodoobie content and generated recipe variations are informational and creative. Check ingredients, allergies, food-safety requirements, cooking temperatures, and dietary needs for yourself before preparing or consuming food. AI-assisted results can be incomplete or wrong.

Recipe Grabber inputs

You are responsible for the text, URL, or image you submit and for having permission to use it. Submitted material may be fetched or processed by Foodoobie’s server and, when needed, sent to Pickaxe as described in the Privacy page. A complete recipe result may be cached locally for 30 days to reduce repeat processing. Logged-in users may save extracted recipes privately to their WordPress account.

Polls and automated limits

Polls use cookies and a one-way fingerprint to reduce duplicate votes. Individual vote/fingerprint records are removed after a poll has been closed for 30 days while aggregate totals remain. Recipe Grabber and Foodoobie It enforce automated request limits. These controls are reasonable safeguards and are not promises that every vote or request is unique.

Third-party services and sources

Some features rely on third parties, including Pickaxe, AltText.ai for dynamically generated image alt text, hosting providers, and recipe source websites submitted to Recipe Grabber. Their availability and handling are outside Foodoobie’s direct code.

Site availability and changes

Foodoobie may correct, remove, or update content and may change or suspend features when needed for security, maintenance, or operation. No service level or permanent availability is promised by the current site.
